February Giveaway! (WINNER ANNOUNCED)
Those of you who read my newsletter already know that I was planning a giveaway for early February, and here it is! I have been steadily writing on this blog for just over a year now, and thought it would be nice to celebrate my blog birthday, Valentine's Day and being crafty in general all at once!
Being that everyone has different crafty endeavors, I have decided that the winner will get to CHOOSE their prize from a list I have compiled. So here are your choices:
1) $25 gift card to JoAnn Fabrics - get yourself whatever crafty supplies you may need!
2) $25 gift card to Chronicle Books - get inspired by some of the most beautifully made books around, they also have some neat kits and stationery. Plus, if cooking is more your thing, they have some amazing cookbooks!
3) Don't feel like getting a gift card? Let me know what kind of crafts you are most interested in and I will go on a mini $25 shopping spree for you and select some great products to send right to your door! Maybe you want to learn embroidery after my recent tutorials, maybe you are a scrap booking genius, just let me know!
Now, how to enter?
Leave a comment on this post letting me know which prize you'd most like and why! If you choose option 3, include what kind of crafts you most like so I can get appropriate items for you. Make sure your email is included so I can reach you if you are the winner!
If you follow me on Facebook or subscribe to my newsletter, leave an extra comment on this post saying so for an extra chance to win.
This giveaway is open Internationally, please allow extra time for delivery outside the U.S.
Giveaway entries must be received no later than 12 pm (noon) PST on 2/14/2012.
Giveaway sponsored by me, myself and I. I am not endorsed by JoAnn or Chronicle Books, I just shop there when the mood strikes. All prizes are purchased by me.
Thank you very much to all who entered! A winner has been chosen and it is #4, Ali!
Congratulations, Ali! I will be emailing you for shipping information.

This is such a nice thing to do! I would choose #3 because I go back and forth so much on what I am doing. I LOVE to sew but I also love to paint and draw. I really am into crafts with my stepdaughter and we enjoy doing those together :) It would be fun to get a surprise packet of crafty project to work on together with her. She is 5 years old :) And has such an imagination. :) Thank you again for putting this together!
ReplyDeleteI also follow you on Facebook (thats how I found out about this)
ReplyDelete:) thank you again!!
Hello! I've been following your blog for a few months, and you've got all kinds of fun activities and recipes that have motivated me to branch out in my crafting. If I were to win, I would like option #1. I currently am excessively fond of knitting but would like to learn to sew and expand that direction with festive fabrics. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm at heydianeallen at gmail dot com and just posted this on facebook too!
well this is awesome! I would choose #3 because I have not yet been very brave in the sewing world, but am crafty in other areas. I think receiving a surprise would be amazing. I am into felting, needle felting, knitting, jewelry making, collage, and also embroidery. my email is loadedevolver at gmail dot com.
ReplyDeleteI like you on facebook! :) Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI love your flower tutorials. Thanks for the giveaway. I would choose a gift certificate to Joann Fabrics.

If I won this giveaway I would love to receive the $25 gift card to JoAnn's. It's one of my favorite stores and I could really use the gift card to get new supplies for crafting! I also liked your FaceBook page email: miasboutique11 at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteOoo ooo! Option three! I am a knitter but really want to learn to embroider. I have read all of the recent tutorials so closely... as though I actually could embroider. I'd love the opportunity to start!
ReplyDeleteI would get the most use from Joann's gift cert. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI receive your newsletter.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I'm going with no. 2 as my first choice. Love Chronicle books.

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway! My choice would be for No. 1, the Jo-Ann's gift card. (But I work in a library and love Chronicle, so that was a bit of a tough decision there!)

I love sewing, and I like supporting independent stores, but I've been out of work since July, so I'd love the $25 gift card to Joann's. Sewing was always my "me time" when I was working and for the first few months of unemployment, my escape, but now my supplies are low and I could really use some basics - needles, interfacing, and the like.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like the gift card to Chronicle Books because, well, I love books! Plus I've found a few things on there that I've been having my eye on for a while ;)

I'd love the Joann gift card because I'm enjoying sewing lately. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have the GC for JoAnn's. They have supplies for just about any craft or hobby. This GC would be very useful for my next trip there. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI would love the gift certificate for chronicle books because I could use some pretty stationary and I LOVE books! :)
ReplyDeleteI love JoAnns and Michaels for all their craft and sewing supplies, I could spend all day in either one. But I love to read and purchase books and magazines all the time (much to my husbands dislike-because I have so many). JoAnns would be my preference. I am going to try the brown sugar scrubs as soon as I can get the essential oils.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Option three: I'm a knitter and would love to see what you come up with - always looking for beautiful yarn to work up one skein projects! Thanks for this generous offer!
ReplyDeleteI also follow you on Facebook! Thanks, again!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get the $25 giftcard to Joann! I LOVE all their adorable fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI liked Craftinomicon on FB!

ReplyDeleteI'd go with the Joann gift card. You can always find fun blog props there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea for a prize! Thank you for a generous giveaway :) I'd love prize no. 3, I'm just starting out with polymer clay so some clay/moulds/rolling pin or any of that sort of stuff would be wonderful.

ReplyDeleteJoAnn's for sure. I'm new to your blog but I'm glad to have found you. You among good company in my google reader list! Also liked you on Facebook! Happy February
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the gift certificate to Chronicle Books! I wasn't aware of this company until just now, and after browsing the site, I found so many wonderful things that I'd love to have! If I won, I'd probably buy some of the lovely stationary to write letters to my mom in Wisconsin or perhaps a journal to keep all my craft ideas in. There are plenty of amazing books I'd love to own as well!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I would love a gift card from JoAnn's. One of my favorite stores.
ReplyDeleteWell thanks for this chance! Either #1 or #2 would suit me fine. And thanks for the idea of heart-shaped french toast. My husband had already requested breakfast for dinner on Valentine's Day, and this approach will be perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!!! I would like the joannes gift card. I saw "the green stack" scrap papers and i fell in love with it but can't afford to buy it. Anyway have a great valentines day tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI would love the gift card to JoAnn Fabrics. It seems like I'm in there every other week anyway buying yarn for this project or fabric for that project. Thanks for the giveaway.
