Halloween Roundup
I still have a last minute Halloween project in the works, but to tide you over here is a roundup of Craftinomicon Halloween/Day of the Dead projects past!
First off, my super easy Halloween Jack-o-Lantern cards! Clip art and a marker and you are done in no time flat!
For those of you with zombie costumes on the brain, check out a great tutorial on zombie makeup from my cousin Carli! My original post here.
Don't forget my latest, a cute Halloween treat bucket. A small bucket, tape and ribbon is all you need :)
Day of the Dead more your style? Try out this Sugar Skull Mask or Skull votive candle.
Happy Halloween!

Zombie Makeup Tutorial
With Halloween fast approaching, I thought I would share this tutorial with all of you on how to apply your very own zombie makeup.
I myself am not exactly gifted with the whole makeup thing, so I had to pounce when my cousin, Carli, posted it on her tumblr. Try not to be intimidated, she has step by step photos and instructions to help you out (Though I am sure her amazing skills as a comic book artist don't hurt in the drawing/makeup department).
For those of you in Wisconsin, specifically the Green Bay area, Carli and her sister, McKenna, can both be seen spooking you out at Terror on the Fox.

Zombie Valentine's
Well, here it is, the requisite February Valentine post. Rather than do it up all hearts, lace and sentiment, I chose zombies!
The back is some patterned card stock, the zombie is done in felt with machine sewn details. If you want to try your own mixed media card with sewing, I definitely recommend a thicker card stock, especially if you will be sewing to fill in some larger areas, as I did with the mouth, shoes, etc. Thinner paper will be more likely to tear, but will work as long as you are careful.
