Roof and electrical. I have managed to paint most of the rooms in the house, but I still have to do a lot of trim. Now that our furniture is in the house though, it seems to keep getting put off.

#1 tip: try to paint everything before you move all your stuff in. Totally worth it.Craftinomiconhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03239653437697211442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7281380586911726683.post-9465693764882490762014-11-04T20:50:12.334-08:002014-11-04T20:50:12.334-08:00When we bought our house, some of the big projects...When we bought our house, some of the big projects had already been done - new kitchen & hardwood floors. The rest of the house is still the original stuff from the 1960's.

I have a huge list of home improvement projects, but sadly they keep getting pushed down the list as more critical things pop up - plumbing issues, leaky roof, leaky bathtub, break-in. We have done some improvement projects, that we paid someone else to handle, but none of them were very "fun". The only fun project was adding some stand alone storage pieces from IKEA to the kitchen. But other than that, any projects have just been fixing stuff that breaks.
